Summer Love

And so I thought I would never see him, again…
Competing against the rising sun, winning over that bright shine.
Warmth balanced in the hands, cools me, protects me.
The mirror that showed the way to a smile.

Summer would be the most boring part of the year for me. Silly for some since the time would be the perfect opportunity for them to go heaven and sky. Why not? If you have the means, why not? Well, we don’t. My family would be the least people you’ll catch at the beach or even outside town. So, that is boring for the most part. When I was younger and by all means we still have spare money, my tita would enroll me in any summer classes. I did voice lessons which I was immediately removed by my tita since she said my voice is turning into a “pop singing voice” which is so mediocre by the way. That’s why they decided to teach me, themselves, unfortunately it’s to late since my Opera singer tita died and I refuse to go further in my piano lesson since it bores me to death… besides I wanted violin but they insisted that I should go learning piano first, whatever! Piano is easy by the way so I just get bored with it and I did a lot of stupid stuff while playing the piano, like not moving for an hour, not even a blink or just hiding and not moving at all. Psycho girl! Then, I enrolled in YWCA which taught me Karate, cooking, swimming and in the end not really getting any of those. I did speech class, which the sole thing I remember is to pronounce poem as “pom” and only to found out that it is not accepted. I did computer class which is so stupid since all one got to do is explore the “Microsoft word” and “Excel”… So that is what I do during summer…

So where is my summer love in everything that I just typed? Well, he is not there…

I’ve seen him last summer. He is tall, fair skinned and that perfect lips is just everywhere… I thought he’ll just be that now-you’re-here-then-you’re-gone, well maybe for most part, but damn he is back! And you know what they say… love is sweeter the second time around. By the way I think this is the first time that I liked a guy twice, I was always oblivious after falling and crushing.


So he is back and I’m willing to do anything to enjoy this summer with him. Thanks to Sam I’ve spent my Thursday, then Whole day Friday, finally Saturday morning with him. Hehehe… after this summer I think the next time I’ll see him would be the next one. But we’ll have OJT then! Damn! Oh well, I’m sure there would be a lot of chances… I hope. So who really is this guy?



His name is Jun, member of Arashi, a J-Actor, and a certified hottie!
