douzo!

It’s the middle of our tour, and I’m having a bit of a problem… As you know, we have a parade in our concert. And I’m the last one to come out. When it comes to parade costumes, we all have our own outfits. But no matter how I look at it, my outfit is… well, I call it a “frilled lizard”, and Ninomiya calls it “A ‘Bravo, Sho-san!’ kinda outfit.” (lol) When we were first deciding on costumes, I said things like, “Hold on, are you sure this will work?” But that sort of talk led to a bit of conflict (lol).

The other four members were definitely not wrong. But still, even though they had a point, I still don’t think the outfit works. I’d say that even under normal circumstances, but with me coming out last… it’s like I’ve become the punch line of the parade (lol). I mean, the audience in the top seats are pointing and laughing at me even before I’ve moved in
to the spotlight. I’m sorry, but I haven’t even come out yet! …And that’s why (lol). There’s no way to use brackets for that.

And plus, directly in front of me is Ohno-san on his Bubble Float, sending bubbles in all directions. So there I’d be in my frilled lizard suit, with bubbles flying at me… pretty awful, huh? (lol).

Honestly, I don’t know what to do… I can’t see a way out of this. This is really bothering me. Well, these things happen, I guess (lol). Looking back, I remember the staff saying to me, “It’s good that up until now, you haven’t sustained any major injuries,” and I thought, “That’s true, I suppose… thank goodness my injury is small by comparison.” (I injured myself earlier.)

While we were in Nagoya, there was a moment when I felt “Together, the five of us can overcome this.” Before the actual concert, everyone came over to where
I was and we discussed things on the stage… and in that instant, I thought, “I’m glad we’re a group of five.” Of course, it’s not a good thing that I got injured since I caused people to worry, but as this is our last tour before our 10-year anniversary, and it’s our first time hitting five Domes… along with various other things, it’s turned out to be a wonderful tour. Concerts are definitely fun. Immeasureably fun. [<-- Thank you, [info]mee_goreng ^^)

I often think that our concerts have become the kind of event that all sorts of people can attend, no matter what age, gender, or nationality. It’s awesome to see everyone’s faces from the stage and know that everyone is having fun. In the end, that’s what makes me happy.

*I cant believe im actually posting my husband's can-we-just-not-talk-about-this-event... oh well... he'll hate me for this but then again...

credit elegant_crimes for this one.

for some reason i already thought of this happening. A dreaded interview done by some mediocre fool calling himself journalist.

Some bakero was brave enough to compare PATD with Charice Pempengco and Arnel Pineda (who the hell? Questions the PATD fans...) *strike one!

then proclaim their popularity due to Youtube (its FUCKING MYSPACE NOT YOUTUBE!) *strike two

And asking questions like this:

"According to your resume, the unique sound of Panic! is influenced by ’80s Anglo techno-electronic groups like Depeche Mode, The Cure, Duran Duran and the Smiths...and that you also have sports roots in art-rockers like Roxy Music, David Bowie and Sparks...and that your music is also characterized by literary and film references, such as "The only difference between martyrdom and suicide is press coverage (from Fight Club author Chuck Palahniuk’s Survivor), "London beckoned songs about money written by Machines" (Douglas Copeland’s Shampoo Planet) and "Lying is the most fun a girl can have without taking her clothes off" (a Natalie Portman line from the film Closer). More: According to Ryan, among your other influences are Rodgers & Hammerstein, Fiddler on the Roof and Third Eye Blind."

- seriously! You call this a question? *strike three

it goes on and on...
read the comments... its a shame...

i have nothing else to say.
